What happens with your idea?

Once you submit your idea, it will be reviewed based on several different criterias. Some of these criterias are time based. Here are the criterias to keep in mind.

  • Could resolve a problem within the Facebook or the internet,
  • There is a need for this application, potential for a large user base,
  • The market for this kind of idea is bound to boom or is currently "in",
  • The idea is fresh, innovative and not currently on the market,
  • Will create convenience to users.

Even if your idea is rejected, there is a possibility that in the future it may still create some hype. You may feel free to submit the idea again if you feel it will have a better chance of success. cy-Designer also will reevaluate rejected ideas on periodic basis to see if it would be of some value to create. At that point cy-Designer will contact you, asking for permission to use the idea again. At no time will we use the idea if it is reject, unless we ask your permission.

My idea was accepted, what's next?

During the approval process, there will be dialog between you, the idea submitter and cy-Designer's approval team. They will ask very important questions regarding how to handle the idea, afterall it is your idea. You will get a say in the whole design process as to things you may or may not like, improvements on certain features. In certain cases cy-Designer may ask you to help moderate or administer the application since it may require some sort of validation process or is dealing with sensitive information.

The steps to create an application from your idea is as follows:

  1. Approval/brainstorming of your idea.
  2. Initial setup of Facebook instances such as registering the application, setting up the application page and creating simple tests to ensure all runs.
  3. A very basic layout is created to allow the developers to create the main functions/features of the application.
  4. Link will be sent to you to allow you to track the progress.
  5. Implementation of the additional features and perfecting the application to ensure all runs.
  6. Implementation of a user interface (if required).
  7. Testing phase.
  8. Submission to Facebook for approval.

This may seem like a lenghty process, but cy-Designer ensures all applications launched work from the get-go.

What will my idea bring me?
